Statement of the Job :
Teaching Opportunities in the School of Biology and Ecology at the University of Maine for the fall 2018.
BIO 100 Biology ? We seek a part-time adjunct instructor for our introductory biology lecture course on MWF in Fall 2018. This person will be responsible for roughly half of the lecture material and will work jointly with a second staff lecturer who will handle the other half of the lectures. The person selected may be invited to continue as a lecturer in the spring session of BIO 100. Applicants for the position should hold a Ph.D. or M.S. in a discipline within the biological sciences.
BIO 205 Field Natural History of Maine - We seek a part-time adjunct instructor for our popular course on the Field Natural History of Maine in Fall 2018. This person will be responsible for presenting lectures on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and coordinating with a teaching assistant to supervise outdoor labs on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Applicants for the position should hold a Ph.D. or M.S. in a discipline within the biological sciences.
BIO 307 Introduction to Neuroscience ? We seek a part-time adjunct instructor for our Introduction to Neuroscience course in the fall of 2018. The course meets once each week from 11:00-1:50 in our active learning classroom; course lecture materials are available from the permanent course instructor, who is on leave from teaching for the fall. Applicants for the position should hold a Ph.D. or M.S. in a discipline within biological sciences.
BIO 464 Plant Taxonomy ? We seek a part-time adjunct instructor for our plant taxonomy course in the fall of 2018. This person will be responsible for presenting lectures on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and coordinating with a teaching assistant to supervise labs on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Applicants for the position should hold a Ph.D. or M.S. in a discipline within the biological sciences.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
