Purpose :
The University of Maine School of Nursing invites applications for two, full-time, academic-year tenure track Assistant Professors in our undergraduate and graduate nursing programs beginning September 1, 2015.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Teach didactic and clinical courses in BSN and graduate program; conduct research and participate in scholarly activities in field of expertise; advise students academically; and serve on School and University committees.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications :
An earned Doctorate in Nursing, or a Master's in Nursing with a Doctorate in a related field and a valid Maine RN license are required by date of hire. Applicants who will complete their Doctorate by hire date will be considered. Preference for one position will be given to Family Nurse Practitioner candidates. Current licensure as a RN and APRN in the State of Maine, or eligibility for Maine licensure, and national certification as a family nurse practitioner are required for FNP candidates. Applicants with teaching experience at the baccalaureate or higher degree level and a record or productivity in an identifiable area of research are preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
