Description Giri Hotel Management is seeking a talented Assistant General Manager to join our team at the Meadomere Resort.
Summary The job of the Assistant General Manager is to help the General Manager complete all activities related to the hotel operations, ensuring the establishment works as smoothly as possible.
The AGM oversees all departments in the hotel such as Food and Beverage, Rooms, Front Office, and Maintenance, among others.
Duties AGMs oversee all events, activities, and operations in a hotel.
They make all the necessary decisions needed to ensure all hotel rules and policies are implemented and followed.
AGMs monitor the tasks of team members, set goals and plans to promote and improve the service provided, and are tasked to give schedules and assignments to team members.
They handle guest complaints and compliments and ensure that events are well organized.
AGMs also welcome guests and customers as they enter the hotel.
They assist the GM in ensuring the security of their guests and the entire hotel.
Previous Experience Requirements AGMs are expected to have been in hotel operations for no less than three years in a management or supervisory role Knowledge and Skills Requirements An AGM must be very organized, systematic, patient, motivated, confident and a hard worker.
He/she must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, strong leadership skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, good customer service skills and multi-tasking skills.
The AGM should work well under pressure, even with minimal supervision.
He/she should also be able to work independently or as part of a large team.
Working Conditions The AGM will work different shifts, dependent on coverage needs and demand.
Depending on their work schedule and the needs of the hotel, the AGM may be assigned to work on weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
They are required to wear presentable, professional attire.
Salary The salary of this position is $60,000, based on experience Recommended Skills Analytical Communication Confident And Emotionally Stable Coordinating Customer Service Foods Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
